WOLF HUNT UNDERWAY IN SOUTH KOREAN CITY AFTER ZOO ESCAPE

Authorities in the South Korean city of Daejeon have mobilized a large-scale search operation after a wolf escaped from a local zoo. The incident has prompted significant public safety measures, including the temporary closure of a nearby school.

The animal broke out from its enclosure at the O-World theme park. In response, a combined force of over 300 personnel from the police, fire department, and military has been deployed to locate the animal. Officials are scouring the surrounding area, urging residents to exercise caution.

Daejeon, a major metropolitan center with approximately 1.5 million residents, is on high alert as the search continues. No injuries have been reported in connection with the escape.
